The park!!

We went to the park today with Amber and the girls!! We had a great time. Took a picnic lunch and played for almost 2 hrs. These are pictures of the kids playing on the play ground. The older kids were to busy making a fort over in the trees!! :)

Salmon

Dan and his friend John went fishing on the Sandy River and they got a few Salmon!! The Girls are so excited that they can't wait for some smoked salmon!! :) Great job Daddy!

Dakota Dance 2009

This is a picture of Dakota's rehearsal.

We were getting Dakota ready to go on stage! It is so crazy with that many people getting ready for so many different dances.

I had to take a picture of Dakota's eye because it is so crazy how long her lashes are. I think that she will not be wearing mascara as she gets older do to the fact I think that she looks a little floozy with it on. She is so funny!!

Dance, More Rain, Harley & Hair color

Dawsyn and Taylor's second dance recital this year! It was GREAT!!! The girls danced great and of course Dawsyn dances with a hole lot of attitude. It was a great laugh. Great job girls

Devon was standing outside right before the dance recital started and it was pouring again. we got .75inches in 15 minutes. It seems that this year is a when it rains it pours!!

Grandpa Dewayne came over and brought his motorcycle for the kids to have rides. We really appreciate what he went through to get here! He drove through the down pour!! :) Thanks Grandpa it was great to spend time with you!!

OK!! Dakota first had curly hair from 2 days in french braids, then she has wanted to color her hair purple for a long time and I finally gave in! Because school is out and dance is over I thought it would be OK. Well, Dawsyn cried and I gave in to putting a little in her hair :) it is so cute. Don't worry it is the washout stuff!! 5-40 washes!! :)

Our Garden

this is our wonderful garden this year!! Tomatoes, lettuce, green peppers, cucumbers, pumpkins, onions. carrots and squash. We have already been enjoying our lettuce and can't wait until the tomatoes are ready to go!!

Puppies, Family & Dress Up

We went to Dan's Mom and Dad's in early June to see his Sister, Brother-in-law and kids. We had a great and busy time. Leena the newest addition to our group is sooooo cute. She was baptised on Sunday and we had lots of family come to celebrate afterwards. The kids enjoyed outside in the trees a lot and they also enjoyed the new puppies. There were 8 little Brittany's so cute and cuddly. They are for sale!!! :) hehe Did I mention they are cute and cuddly!!

Devon was mouthing off (I know that is hard to believe) LOL and got himself handcuffed to his leg. Very very funny!! Devon was a little mad about it and went after Uncle Doug afterwards but later had a good laugh over it.

Thanks to Aunt Veronica we have more dress up clothes for Dawsyn. She dresses up everyday and has decided that they are appropriate attire for the grocery store, post office and dollar store. I think she likes the attention she gets when she wears them out!! :) Silly girl!!!

Fishing, Tornado's and dance

We went fishing for shad in May and had a great time!! Spend many hours out on the water even though at times it was bone chilly cold. We thought that even if we didn't catch any fish we were bound to catch colds! :) Well, we were lucky and got 3 shad. The kids had a great time reeling them in and getting there pictures with them. We bought a shade for the boat and it was great because the kids had a place to get out of the sun rather then putting a blanket over their heads like last year.

Here is a picture from a rain storm that we had, we got almost an inch of rain in 15 minutes. We also had funnel clouds with a few tornado's that were seen but didn't touch the ground. The rain and clouds were absolutely amazing to see. I hope we never see a tornado stirring around here again but I am sure with our track record this year of 2 we will more that likely see another!

Dakota is a beautiful ballerina!! This is her costume for her recital Rodeo Ballet. She did a great job.
